Mark Cleveland is a successful, serial entrepreneur and business executive with a track record of accomplishment in leadership roles at public and private organizations, both large and small.

As President and CEO of SeaBridge, Mark helped develop, spin out, recruit executive talent and deploy the first new cross Gulf, blue-water barge service operating a 600 container barge in Jones Act qualified trade between Tampa Florida and Brownsville Texas. SeaBridge Freight, Inc. is a cost efficient, port to port transportation capacity provider on a new Marine Highway that relieves congested highways in a perfect partnership with rail, trucking and marine logistics. The most environmentally friendly method of bulk and specialized transportation, SeaBridge Freight has offered a unique demonstration of the promise of America’s Marine Highway system and is the only all privately financed effort of its kind. Mark served as a founding director and Chairman of the Board from inception until January 2010 and remains an investor today.

As President and CEO of Swiftwick International, LLC the company has become the recognized leader in the domestic manufacturing of medical grade, compression performance wear for sports teams and individual athletes. Swiftwick promises its customers the best product you have ever worn without qualification - guaranteed. The company most recently earned recognition as “2009 Employer of the Year” for Williamson County, presented by Tennessee Rehabilitation Center.

Mark purchased Hobby Lobby International, Inc in early 2009 and is active today as its CEO. Hobby Lobby International is a designer and distributor of top quality “hobbyist class” product (which is to say that these are serious toys) using the most sophisticated radio control and interactive video technology to guide aircraft, cars and boats in both miniature and large scale for the most discriminating modeler. Based in Brentwood Tennessee, the 43 year old company is recognized as the third largest hobby aircraft company in the North American marketplace.

As President and Chief Development Officer at Truckload Management, Inc ("TMI"), a company established in 1989 and best known for its expedited document management and outsourcing services, Mark was responsible for strategic relationships, sales and marketing, client services and managing both domestic and off-shore software development teams. In February 2004, TMI was acquired by Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS) and Mark was retained as Division Vice President for what became a wholly-owned subsidiary of this Fortune 500 company. Under his leadership TMI (and ACS) enjoyed consistent sales growth in excess of 27% annually for five years in a row. In August, 2005 the CEO of ACS presented Mark with the ACS 'Innovator of the Year' award at their annual meeting.

Mark moved to Nashville to assume a leadership role at TMI, where he energized the brand and created many new fleet services and products. This includes a prepaid, express mail envelope sold under the TripPak OVERNIGHT brand. Within a year, over a thousand truck stops signed up to sell the product and retail sales grew to exceed five million annually. In 2004, Truck Stop and Travel Plaza News magazine recognized TripPak OVERNIGHT as New Product of the Year. Mark’s experience includes working closely with fleet managers to implement innovative solutions to the real challenges of driver recruiting and retention, fuel tax, safety and regulatory compliance. Mark places the highest value in his relationships, earned in a career spent helping his clients reduce fleet operating costs.

TMI recruited Cleveland away from Park-N-View (PNV) in October 2000. At PNV he managed a retail and business to business sales force of 117 people, as Vice President of Sales and Strategic Business Development. For almost two years he was part of the executive team that took the company public in November 1999 as PNV (NASDAQ: PNVN).

Mark is a partner in Thanks for Holding and Best Business Music, subscription based audio marketing and music services that help any business with high call volumes deliver a current and more effective marketing messages to customers waiting “on hold”. To clear time for SeaBridge, Mark sold his equity stake in Ellsworth Hand Crafted Bicycles, Inc., a domestic manufacturer of high performance mountain and road bikes. In 2006, Mark installed a new management team at Ellsworth and the company increased its worldwide sales by 140%, earning several industry awards for product excellence, including Mountain Bike of the Year from Outside Magazine.

Mark and his wife Sheila owned and operated the Brentwood Dolphin Club, a family swim and tennis club operating athletic facilities on eleven acres.

For the nine years prior to joining PNV, Mark was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the Jubitz Corporation, a family owned company operating a destination truck stop ranked by Travel Magazine as one of the top five facilities in the world, and the company that introduced DAT, the premiere freight matching service now part of TransCore. At Jubitz, Mark spent two years as Vice President of Network Development for SmartStop (now Corbin Technologies), a related company providing smart card solutions, access control, telecommunications and wireless services in truck stops. He also served as Vice President of Jubitz Fleet Services, managing several operating units with revenues in excess of 30 million dollars. Mark was the executive manager of DAT Insurance Services, a risk management and general transportation insurance agency. The leader of the largest independently owned Pacific Pride fleet fueling franchise, Mark lead the integration of highway use tax, vehicle licensing and a range of compliance and safety consulting..

Before joining the Jubitz Corporation, Mark was founder and CEO of Horizon Satellite Systems. It took six years to build the largest satellite communications company in the Pacific Northwest. Mark served on the Board of Directors for SPACE and SBCA (satellite communications industry associations). Mark is proud to be a founder of ONTOP Software Systems, the first company to develop integrated business operating, accounting and inventory systems for the satellite TV retail industry. He has been an instructor, moderator and a featured speaker at a number of conventions, across several industries, speaking most recently about "The Paperless Supply Chain" at the 2005 ATA Executive Conference in Orlando, "Outsourcing Strategies" at the Truckload Carrier Association's annual meeting, and "Marketing Electronic Services" presented at both the T-Chek Technology Conference and the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America (SIGMA).

Mark studied marketing and finance at the University of Oregon, completed graduate level courses in accounting from the Haas Business School at the University of California at Berkley, and business and leadership course work at Portland State University. He earned his insurance license in Oregon, Washington and California. Mark lives in Brentwood, Tennessee with Sheila, his wife of more than 19 years, and their daughters, Savannah and Piper.
